Whe I first arrived today Mr. Tallevi gave me some Math Champion tests to grade. It was very interesting seeing the variations of grades. Afterwards it was time to take the first grade seven class to the gym. During the two gym periods both classes were working on different basketball drills, for example:, dribbling with one hand, dribbling with two hands, moving the ball around the body. The one drill Mr. Hundt would point a certain direction and the students would have to dribble in that direction, Mr. Hundt made them do this for at least ten minutes straight. Mr. Hundt then showed the students a drill called through the scissors,, the students would shuffle their feet like scissors and try to throw the ball between their legs. It was very funny to watch.
