Week 16 - June 11 - 14, 2007
CO-OP is now finished. It is really going to feel weird not going to St. Andrew School everyday anymore. It is going to different not seeing all the staff and students at the school everyday. I am going for the graduation luncheon at the Mandarin and then to Classic Bowl for some bowling, this is taking place on June 21. Lindsey and I will be going to the grade eight graduation to help complete different tasks to make the grad run smoother. These two invitations made me feel real welcomed and a part of the St. Andrew community. The part of the job that I will miss is not seeing everyone everyday and not helping out as much in the community. I don't think there are any parts of the job that I will miss. The hardest part of the job as been completing the PowerPoint and editing and scanning all the pictures for the graduation side show. If someone was going to St. Andrew school for CO-OP I would tell them a lot. They should go there with a positive attitude like the rest of the staff, they should try their hardest and listen to every piece of advice the teachers give you. This placement has really helped pick my career for the future, I believe I want to be a teacher. The CO-OP students should always listen to the teachers and complete every task they give you. The CO-OP experience overall at this placement has been great and I will never forget it.

Today I was my last day at CO-OP. I received a lot of different thank you gifts. It was very nice to receive these gifts of thanks, and to know that my help was very grateful. For the rest of the day I went outside with the grade eights to play baseball. Due to Miss Boyd being absent the grade eights had to be mixed together to make two classes so that Mr. Tallevi and Mrs. Stula both watched one big class. This was the entire afternoon. At the end of the day I said my thank yous and left, as I was walking out all the grade eights ran towards me and gave me a huge group hug, this made me feel real good.

Wednesday June 13, 2007
Well only one day left. The first thing I did today was handed out all my Thank You gifts to everyone that has helped me, encouraged me or found something for me to do, it took me 20 minutes to find everyone. Everyone was extremely grateful but I was very grateful for them letting be a part of the school community. Well today after burning the powerpoints to a new disc for Mrs. Stula, I went to the gym to watch the students (Grade Seven) play indoor baseball. During that time I was taking some pictures to include in my culminating. I tok pictures during both classes. I also got a picture of Mme. Mercer, Mr. Hundt and Mr. Tallevi. At the end of the day I got a group picture of Mrs. Stula, Mme. Mercer, Miss Boyd, Miss Dover, Mr. Hundt and Mr. Tallevi in Miss Boyd's class room. I can't believe I only have one more day of fun here at St. Andrew Catholic School.
Tuesday June 12, 2007
Lindsey and I worked on a poem that the grade eights will be presenting at their graduation it was called "May You Always Have An Angel By Your Side". Lindsey read the poem out loud so I could time it and we would know how long to make the powerpoint to go with it. The poem was about one minute in length, afterwards we went to the library computer to work on the powerpoint. We found pictures to match each line or to represent each line. With the help of Mme. Mercer, Lindsey and I were able to complete the presentation. Before that Mrs. Stula asked me to edit a few more things on the graduation slide show. After watching the slide show I realized how many pictures I actually scanned, it took a real long time. Well only two days left, this CO-OP experience really has been a good one.

Monday June 11, 2007
Today once again I had to continue to work on the graduation baby picture slide show. I had to insert some pictures that I was unable to find on Friday. I also fixed the timings and put in some neat effects that would make the presentation even better and more enjoyable on the graduation night. Lindsey and I were asked to attend the graduation to help out with various things. We both said that we would attend the grad. We also got talking about what we should our supervisors for all the help they have given us this semester. I can't believe that the fun is going to be ending very soon.
Week 15 - June 4 - 8, 2007
I feel that this CO-OP placement at St. Andrew school has been a great and fun experience. The staff and students at this school always make me feel so welcomed and need. I think that the people and students I work with really appreciate what I do. It feels good knowing that I am always welcomed at St. Andrew School. At this placement there is really no ways to take risks. The only risks that teachers really take are, whether to give a 70 or a 72, it is all based on the grades. Since being at this placement I have realized that I have learned a lot of new and useful skills that will stay with me forever. I have also noticed that I do things much much faster than at the beginning of this semester. The first time Mr. Tallevi gave me some music to mark it took me almost a full week, where now it takes one or two days, maximum. I am very eager about what I am going to learn over my last week here at St. Andrew School and what new skills I will pick up over the next week. I think I will miss coming to this placement each and every day. Lindsey and I were discussing how different the week after our last week is going to be weird and different because we won’t have to come to St. Andrew school everyday like we are used to. Well only one more week to go, I think the lask week is going to be difficult to get through.
