I arrived at the school at around 11:30 AM to help out with the basketball practise which was taking place in the gym throughout the lunch, I also went to the computer lab and got some papers I need Mr. Tallevi to fill out for me. After the lunch recess all the intermediate classes went to the gym to hear the final six speeches in grade seven and grade eight(A total of 12 speeches were heard) to see which two (from each grade) would go on to represent the school at the regional finals. After all twelve speeches were complete, the students got to receive the afternoon recess (usually they do not get this recess) so the teachers could decide on the two winners in each grade. After the winners were announced we played "The Real Game". During this time I helped some students with the calculations that were needed to complete the necessary sheets. I worked until 3:00 PM, a total of 3.5 hours.
